Mountain Biking
South Africa is a mountain biking haven. There are hundreds of mountains around the Western Cape province, each with numerous biking trails. You’ll find everything from easy wide trails to single tracks, with steep downhills, sandy and muddy sections and some backbreaking uphills. In addition there is a previous Worldcup downhill track too.
Cyclists are welcome to join “Pick & Pay Argus Cycle Tour”, the world’s largest timed cycle event with over 35000 participants. It takes place along some the Cape Town’s pristine coastline.

Sex with the gods - Parachuting
Parachuting is one of the ultimate adrenaline rushes. You have to try it!
The Drop Zone is situated only a mere 20 minutes drive from the Cape Surf Hostel. Tandem jumping – when you are strapped to a professional instructor is the most popular way to feel the rush as you get "free fall" on your first jump.
The second most popular way is take lessons and obtain your licence, which is relatively easy and cheap in South Africa. There after you can obtain "Advanced Free Fall (AFF)" without a staticline and any direct help. In case you fail to open your parachute two professional’s jump with you and are be prepared to rescue you while free falling. The staticline lessons are about R350 each. They do not include a free fall.

Kloofing
Kloofing is Afrikaans word and means Cliff jumping. There is a river near Gordons Bay with rocky high cliffs to the left and right.
You can decide which jumps you would like to do. They range from 5 to 22 metres high. Please note that the highest jumps can be dangerous.
But even if you don’t jump, it is still an exciting adventure.
