Surfing is part of the South African culture and on the water everybody’s laid back too. There are plenty of waves for everyone.

You’ll find an abundance of different breaks in and around Cape Town, which are individually situated on both sides of the peninsula.

Choose Cape Town as your base camp and travel up to Jeffreys Bay on the east coast, or Elandsbay on the westcoast.
You’ll find one of the worlds best waves there and you’ll find out that South Africans love to surf.





They broadcast the swell report on the early morning news and there is a washing powder called SURF. All the kids hit the beach after school has finished in the afternoon.
